You can hear two songs Dan co-wrote with Owen Moore, the Singing Packer, on his debut album "TRAILBUDDIES". "Ridin' the Range Tonight" and "Midnight Pass". Owen is a great talent from the west side of the Cascades.
Still Playing Cowboy - I guess you could call this one auto-biographical.
Six-Gun Philosophy - A young cowboy is forced into a life on the owlhoot trail.
We are constantly asked what are our favorite western movies. We would have to begin the list with "SHANE" and "THE SEARCHERS". We also love to watch Clint Eastwood's westerns, especially "THE OUTLAW JOSEY WALES". In fact there are very few western movies we don't like.
Many thanks to our recording engineer, Paul Buchignani. He knows he is welcome at our campfire anytime.

If you look carefully, you can see the cave Shorty found, high up the wall of the cliff, in the center of the photo. Since Shorty found it, he gets to name it. It's now on our maps as "Indian Moccasin Cave". The cabin is well back in the willows to the right, near the cliff wall.
